Cancellation policy
Notice of cancellation must be received in writing.
The conference organisers shall be entitled to levy a cancellation fee as indicated below:
Up until 90 days prior to the first day of the event: 10% of the registration fee
Between 89 and 30 days prior to the first day of the event: 50% of the registration fee
Within 30 days of the first day of the event: 100% of the registration fee.

PLEASE NOTE: There will be access control at all the functions. If you do register online for the functions, it will be presumed that you will not attend and you will not attend and you will not be registered for the relevant social function.

Travel arrangements & shuttle service
You are responsible for your own travel arrangements.
No shuttle service will be provided. We would like to recommend that you make use of Uber or any other e-hailing / taxi / shuttle services.
General information
CPD points (Continuing Professional Development Points)
The conference will be accredited by the Health Professions Council of South Africa and registered for CPD points.
Language
The official language of the conference will be English. No simultaneous translation into any other language will be provided.
Currency
ZAR South African Rand (R).
Climate
Average temperatures: 12 – 19 ℃. Jacket essential for the evenings. Cool and possibly wet in winter months.
Electricity
The electricity supply in South Africa is 220 / 230 volts, AC 50 Hz. Three prong plugs required.
Insurance
The conference organisers cannot accept any liability for personal injuries sustained, or for loss of, or damage to, property belonging to Conference participants (or their accompanying persons), either during or as a result of the conference. Please check the validity of your own insurance.
Visas
It is strongly suggested that all travellers check the latest visa requirements with the nearest South African Embassy or Consulate before travelling,

The passports of all travellers entering South Africa must contain at least two clean (unstamped) visa pages each time entry is sought.
Travellers entering South Africa from countries where yellow fever is endemic are often required to present their yellow World Health Organisation (WHO) vaccination record or other proof of inoculation. If they are unable to do so, they must be inoculated at the airport in order to be permitted entry.
